What are my treatment options?

  • Option one: One common option is to place a synthetic lens that allows the eyes to see at a distance. This option is excellent but will require the use of reading glasses to see close-up for the rest of your life.
  • Option two: Many of our clients want to correct their close-up vision, and this can be achieved with two methods. One method is “monovision,” where the dominant eye is corrected for distance vision, and the non-dominant eye is corrected for near vision. This option is not comfortable for everyone, as it may leave you with a dizzy sensation or blurry up-close vision in one eye. While some eventually get used to these side effects, it may not be the best option for people who wish to see equally well with both eyes.
  • Option three: Multifocal Synergy Lenses can correct both near and far vision. These lenses allow you to see clearly, with no reading glasses needed for the rest of your life. Synergy Lenses are manufactured in the USA by Johnson & Johnson.

Cutting-edge technology for improved quality of life

The older generation multifocal lenses provided near vision at about 30 cm and clients has to wear glasses for certain activities. These older lenses were not successful for clearly seeing media screens, making them impractical for today’s device-reliant world.

Ready for clear, sharp vision?

If you have lived with vision problems, undergoing lens replacement can significantly enhance your quality of life. Excellent vision in low-light environments can soon be yours. No glasses, no glare, no halos.

The benefits of Synergy Lenses

Synergy Intraocular Lenses deliver the widest range of accurate vision out of all premium lenses, with clear vision close-up, at an intermediate distance, and far away. The older generation multifocal lenses had the drawback of causing halos and glare, leading to problems with night driving. These issues are virtually non-existent with Synergy Lenses. The violet-filtering technology works to limit light glare, halos, and other visual effects.
